The lower part of the Batterie Spitz was armed with two 75 mm guns and one heavy machine gun. It has been totally restored in its original state of the fourties. Therefore the machine gun casemate was equipped with an original MG 11, the Swiss version of the famous Maxim. The battery is opened to the public.
