Casemate d'artillerie de Stockem
Several artillery casemate type R.F. de Metz were constructed to reinforce the weaker sectors deprived of artillery. Here the embrasures for the two 75 mm guns. In fact these guns were old fortress guns model 1897 taken from the pre-WW I forts around Toul. However since the barrels were the same as the standard 75 mm field gun, still widely used by the French in 1940, these guns were still very useful.
