It is often believed that the French never defended their border with Switzerland. However when you take a good loke in the area you can find several blockhouses, including this one near Les Fins. It was armed with a single anti-tank gun, most probably a 25 or 37 mm gun, and a 8 mm Hotchkiss MG. I am not sure when this blockhouse was damaged, but most likely it served as a practise target in 1944/'45.
