This blockhouse is incorporated in an old wind mill. The mill was a good observation post and the interior was reinforced with concrete. However the walls couldn't resist the heavy German bombardments. However the crew resisted bravely until they were ordered to retreat. Few people realise that this region was the theatre of heavy fightings. Some blockhouses resisted until the entire crew was either wounded or dead.
