Mont-Noir was heavily defended with no less than six STG blockhouses at less than a kilometer. They were armed with a 25 mm AT gun, a 8 mm HMG and a cloche GFM (for observation and a light MG). The blockhouse has preperations to receive an armoured plate for the 25 mm gun, but this was never delivered. However it has an armoured mounting for the MG.
