Blockhaus de Jean Ansart: the frontal observation post of this STG blockhouse type G.A. 1 (Groupe d'Armées 1 or 1st Army Group). These observation posts had been designed as a cheap alternative for the observation turrets. However they proved to be very vulnerable during the fightings around Sedan in May 1940.
