Casemate de 155 du Fort de Maulde: this unique casemate was armed with one 155 G.P.F. gun that had a range of 18 km. It had to fire at some strategic bridges over the river Scheldt in Belgium. A part of the frontal wall is about 5 m. thick. The design of the casemate resembles some bunkers designs of the Westwall/Atlantic Wall.
