The small work Chatelard consists of a single casemate that had to defend the road to the Little St. Bernard Pass. Its front is quite impressive with three embrasures in a row. The one of the left was armed with a 47 mm anti tank gun while the other two embrasures were equipped with a twin MG. Between the two embrasures on the left they wanted to install a search light, but this was never delivered. Therefore the opening was covered with concrete.
