Abri d´Amodon is a small shelter east of Modane. The shelter itself isn't very interesting, but nearby is this beautiful monument. It was erected by the 4th Regiment Engineers in honour of sergeant André Gauthier who was killed in an accident at Amodon on the 3rd August 1933.
