Most British pillboxes in France are quite small. This one at Moulin du Rhin, east of Dunkirk, is no exception. The armament consisted of a sole Vickers heavy machine-gun on its standard tripod. The embrasure is quite low, but a high elevation wasn't deemed necessary in the flat polders in Northern France.
