The mechanism of the swingbridge number 724, one of the two in the Oder-Warthe-Bogen. To open the bridge the large weight is unlocked. This way it pull the heavy chain which makes the central axle turn. This is linked to the metal pivot on the right which makes the bridge turn. The other gearwheels are used to close the bridge again and raise the weight.
