The work had a flanking casemate with two 77 mm guns and a search light. The fire was directed by a special observation turret, a 'Wachtturm neu erweitert'. It was enlarged version of the standard infantry observation turret of the Festen. The larger turret enabled the use of instruments for the fire direction. This type of turret can only be found near 77 mm casemates.
