The dead angles of the Feste Lothringen, created by the deep valleys east and south of the Feste, were defended by two small works. Here the barracks of the left work. Like in the Festen built before 1907 the facade was made of sand stone. Whereas the other facades were later reinforced with concrete this one remains in the original condition.
