Blockhaus de Gunsthal Ouest: one of the two blockhouses of Gunsthal that defended a valley with cross-fire. There armament consisted of one cloche GFM, one LMG, a twin MG and a 13,2 mm HMG. The two later weapons had to use the same embrasures, so they couldn't be used at the same time. The 13,2 machine-gun was designed against lightly armoured vehicules. The blockhouse has still two camouflage plates made of concrete on a metal frame.
