Gros ouvrage de Rochonvillers: block 5 is the largest casemate of the entire Maginot Line. It took 6.000 cubic meter of concrete to build it. It was armed with three 75 mm guns model 1929 and one 135 mm heavy mortar. Although several similar casemates were planned it remained unique.
