Sous-station de Xivry-Circourt
The works of the Maginot Line did have generators. However they also had an external power supply system powered by civilian power plants. Part of this system were large transformer station which transformed the 65.000 V to 17.500 V or 10.200 V for the works. Most of these transformer stations were housed in bomb-proof buildings with 2,75 m. thick roofs.
