The nomenclature model 1932 is a bit decisive, because the gun is actually the barrel of the 75 mm retractable turret model 1905. To distinguish this gun from the other gun model 1932 the letter R, which stands for Raccourci or shortened, was added. Most of the guns model R 1932 were installed in retractable gun turrets. With their shorter barrels they had a more curved trajectory. The drawing shows the more rare casemate mounting.
