Mont-Ours is part of the line between Sospel and Nice. In fact it had to maintain the communication between Fort du Barbonnet and Nice. Nowadays the fort is in use with the Mountain rescue service. Here you have a wonderful view of the region. Nevertheless very few people visit it, probably because of the steep access road.
