Block 5 is the largest block of Roche-la-Croix. Its main armament consisted of not less than 6 guns, including two 75 and two 81 mm mortars. However the most important was the retractable turret for two 75 mm guns model 1933. In the background on the right you can just see the roof of the old 19th century barracks.
